Imagine for a moment…
a world in which any woman anywhere has an opportunity to learn how to start and/or grow a business to support her family, help the economy in her community and fulfill her dreams.
We will accomplish that, but we need you.
COVID-19 tried hard to knock us off balance in the spring, when we discovered that we could no longer offer our in person classes and were not fully equipped to move to an online platform. However our board of directors decided to rewrite our strategic plan to think “bigger, better and more inclusive.” We developed a plan unstoppable by a pandemic. A bigger plan. A better plan.
To assist us in developing and launching our online program, we have contracted with BlueSkyPhoenix, a brand strategy, web design, and marketing firm, to build upon the successes we have already realized, thanks to your support. With experience in nonprofits and education, BlueSkyPhoenix is well-suited to help us accomplish our goals in 2021 and beyond.
By assessing our strengths and weaknesses through research and surveys, we are in the process of developing an online program set for release in Fall 2021, enabling us to increase our impact ten times within a short period of time.
So far, we have received a $22,000 grant from the PATH Foundation and a $15,000 grant from the Truist Foundation for which we are very grateful. However, the funding needed to complete this project is $75,000. To meet our goal of helping hundreds and even thousands of women through an online learning platform, we need an additional $38,000.
We need Champions who can see the far-reaching value of impacting the lives of women. Heroes like you, who know the value of equipping women to change their world. Warriors willing to stand with us, and help us reach our goal.
In these times when it looks like COVID wants to defeat so many, will you help us rise above the challenge and reach the stars?
For donations of $50 and above, you will receive our custom “I AM the storm” t-shirt when you fill out the form at the bottom of the page.
With grateful hearts now and always,
Marianne Clyde, President
and our Board of Directors:
